The Whole Person

This series is a story about fabulously handsome men discovering themselves through the help of fascinating, but plain-looking, men.

Zeke is not your typical main character, both in body and circumstance. An obese high schooler at a Catholic school, he lives with a difficult mother who expects Zeke to live with her until she dies.  Zeke is not only bright and innovative, he also is fascinated by the by the physique magazines he buys from a magazine rack in Hollywood.

He also becomes fascinated by the huge jock, Red Scramagno, that manages the stand. While being a bit of a man whore, and despite being straight himself, Red sees past Zeke's obesity and begins relations with the boy.

Zeke will have to decide where he wants this path to lead as the two decide not only where to go to college, but more importantly if Zeke wants to confront his mother.

Losing Mom

Finding Life

Zeke has made up his mind: he's going to risk it all. What does he have to lose? So, he starts by having Red to dinner to meet his mom. A dinner with a possibly forgone conclusion where all hell is set to break loose.

Zeke and Red want to attend Loyola University, TOGETHER. Yet can Red really love Zeke, even though he claims to be straight? Will Red and Zeke create a fun life closeted to some, but out to others?

Then there's Red’s roommate, Larry, who seems to be a bit "light in the loafers" himself. Will he be able to help them, or will he be too preoccupied with his recently paroled brother?

Deeper In

The obese boy, Zeke, and his mate, straight jock Red, are ensconced together at Loyola University. Zeke is busy dieting and weightlifting, turning fat into muscle, while Red is freaking out over maybe being gay, now attracted to his mate’s new body and to other men.

Both are worried about how their families will tolerate the news of their relationship. Both Dads expect their sons to be uber-straight. Will they reject both boys? Or, will they just blame the “other boy” for recruiting their son?

Meanwhile, the straight dude, Joe Sinclair, across the hall from the guys, runs into his history professor at a cruisey public toilet downtown. Joe and Dr. Jarnell Griffin hit it off, but the professor demurs, “I can’t lose my job over you, Joe.” Joe pursues the good professor with the same energy he used to pursue girls. Will Jarnell relent?

And how will Zeke and Red convince their dads to accept them as a couple? Hint: their solution involves a girl named Eleanor.
