After two years of rooming with Tom in Loyola U’s dorms, we now have our own place at the beach and are in love. What is this? What are we? Tom tells me, “Manny, God created us this way. He loves us for who we are.” But what are we? Will we find more guys like us at school?

George Shrum spends most of his time in a glory-hole toilet. Can we befriend him and pull him out of that toilet? Maybe, we could get the young priest-to-be Karl Kepler to date George. And there’s big angelic-looking Pete Zachary - baseball player and master musician. He’s having an affair with one of those guys on campus who hate themselves for being gay. These guys attack themselves and the rest of us. How can we stop them and reconcile them?

July Syberski’s family has always known he’s gay and supports him. He lives with his big, straight brother, Aristotle, near Loyola University. He wants to fall in love with another guy.

Pete Zachary is weight training him but is involved with Jerry Sawaya, whom he’s moved into his home. Jerry tries to make friends with Pete’s mom. Can he change her mind about Pete having to date girls? Is it possible God miraculously visits this controlling mother?

Pete is introducing July to the LGBTQ ministry at Loyola, and he meets Joe dePetra and is smitten. But Joe is taking care of his crazy Mom and is afraid of other people meeting her. Can July get close enough to Joe and charm his mom into sanity?

Meanwhile, July is hooking up with Barry Lynn, who’s addicted to amphetamines, roaming at night, deserting his boyfriend, Arthur. Will Barry overcome his addiction? Can Arthur’s love for him prevail? How will July be a gift from God in the LGBTQ ministry?

The Catholic church condemns suicide and homosexuality. Both can send you to hell for eternity. Mitch LaRue is Catholic and has lost his mother to suicide. And, he’s secretly in love with the sophomore class president, Dennis Dauth.

Mitch’s two closest friends are Dave Fladlien and Bruce Bermel. Dave is sweet, paunchy, and effeminate. Bruce is obese. The three boys are brutally persecuted by the homophobic student body and faculty. 

Mitch has weekly counseling sessions with one of the very few kind priests. In these sessions, he explores how Dave has been paying a street hustler for sex, and has fallen in love with the 16-year-old runaway and taken him “home.” Mitch can also celebrate his singing with a rock band. And, most importantly, he can figure out when to make love with Dennis, who has an infant son.

Will Dennis's homosexual relationship with Mitch prove him an unfit father, so he loses his infant son to Vanis Forman - pornographer, sex trafficker, pedophile, and the baby’s grandfather? Or, instead, will Mitch and Dennis find a Home At Last?

And, I am Dave Fladlien, a paunchy effeminate nerd, who’s in love with Larry - a street whore. Larry’s pimp works for Vanis and kidnaps Larry into sex slavery. But Tiller is Larry’s good friend. Oh, yeah, Tiller is a magical bird that God has sent to help release all of these people.

And, I am Rich Vanis. I’m student body president and have fallen in love with the flamboyant Gustavo. Will I help Larry escape from Vanis Forman’s clutches? Just who am I? Could I be related to Gramps, Vanis Forman, the sex trafficker?

Don was horrified when he stumbled in on his little brother Oscar being reamed in the bum by Lee. Don is a staunch Catholic who condemns homosexuality, and he is determined to get Oscar to change. But his obsession turns around on himself.

While spying on Oscar having sex in Griffith Park, he is willingly manhandled by a big blonde who tears him a new anus - which he cannot ignore. Don is a House Divided inside. He hates being gay and dodges that by persecuting his little brother, Oscar. Secretly, he’s in love with his lifelong friend, Mike. Nonetheless, Don is relentless, destroying every tryst and gay friendship that Oscar pursues.

The brothers live with their Dad, Russ, who is a former athlete-turned-insurance salesman, to support his family. He is shocked to discover that both of his sons are gay. He loves them and tries his best to accept them and “help” them. He meets Joe LoPiccolo, a gay dwarf photographer who beguiles Russ into posing for him nude. Will Russ, the utterly straight jock, consider having sex with Joe to better understand and accept his gay sons?

Oscar Schwartz has run away from home and has landed in the arms of a gay couple, Bruce and Dan, owners of the gym where he’s employed. They adore Oscar and make him a member of their family. They want to help Oscar mature into self-acceptance as a gay person Oscar is missing his brother and his Dad, Russ, whom he left behind.

Oscar has fallen in love with Bret, a workout buddy at the gym. But he can’t bring himself to come out to Bret. So, he’s having an affair with Fred Friday, the best surfer in Southern California. Will Fred survive his childhood abuse from the lovers of his drunk mother? Will he conquer the surf at Point Doom or die trying?

Oscar’s dad, Russ, is determined to accept both of his sons as gay. He is reviled by the idea. But, he’s been seduced by the gay dwarf photographer, Joe LoPiccolo, to pose nude for him. Will Russ take the leap for his sons? Will he have sex with Joe, so that he knows what makes his gay sons tick? Is he more like them than he thought?

Meanwhile, the boys’ Gramma, Jenny, is working on Don. His mother ensnarled him as a boy, creating a hateful, judgmental Catholic persona alongside his fun-loving, self (a House Divided). Jenny intends for Don to visit his Mother with her in the Asylum. Will Don side with Jenny or his crazy Mom? Will he open himself to sex with other guys? Will he be able to get closer to the love of his life, Mike Bergdahl?
